Assessment of how your eyes work together, alongside your prescription and overall eye health, with attention to your everyday visual needs.
A fit for your eyes and your routine. Including support for first-time wearers.
Fittings are available for spherical, toric and multifocal lenses. New wearers receive instruction on insertion, removal and lens care. Contact lens fitting is a separate service from a regular eye exam.
Assessment and ongoing management of eye conditions, with referrals when needed.
Care includes glaucoma, cataracts, diabetic eye disease and macular degeneration. Your optometrist can coordinate specialist referrals where appropriate.
Vision and eye health assessments for infants and children as they grow.
Children’s assessments include focusing, eye coordination and tracking, alongside eye health and vision. Call the clinic to arrange an appointment for your child.
Explore options for nearsightedness, including specialty overnight Ortho-K lenses.
Your optometrist assesses whether myopia management options are suitable. Ortho-K uses specialty contact lenses worn overnight; suitability and follow-up needs are discussed during assessment.

Visual field testing helps assess and monitor changes in central and peripheral vision associated with eye disease.

Two optometrists.
A personal approach to your vision.

OPTOMETRIST
A University of British Columbia science graduate with a Doctor of Optometry from Pacific University, Oregon. Her clinical interests include vision therapy and visual rehabilitation following concussion or other brain injuries.
Dr. Cheng received the COVD Excellence in Vision Therapy Award at graduation. She has completed postgraduate coursework through the Optometric Extension Program Foundation and the Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation Association.
OPTOMETRIST
Dr. Cheng has cared for patients in Richmond since 1994. He earned his Doctor of Optometry at Pennsylvania College of Optometry and previously taught optometry at Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
He also holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of California, Irvine. His practice includes patients across age groups, from children to seniors.

Contact & enquiry formUse the shared Aberdeen Centre parking lot. Park on P4 and enter through “Aberdeen Square.” The clinic is beside the entrance on the 3rd floor.
The clinic is on the 3rd floor, at the same level as the Aberdeen Station connection to Aberdeen Square.
No referral is needed to book an optometry appointment. Call the clinic to arrange your visit.
All visits are by appointment. Please call before coming in, including if you have an urgent eye concern.
Direct billing is available for most extended health insurers. Confirm your plan’s eligibility with the clinic and check your coverage before your visit. Bring your policy number and member ID.
A contact lens fitting is separate from a comprehensive eye exam and has a separate fee. Let the clinic know when booking if you would like contact lenses.
Please call the clinic as soon as possible. A fee applies to missed appointments; ask the clinic about its current appointment policy when booking.
